Agronomist with Particip GmbH - Tanzania

Based in Dar es Salaam but involved in the data collection and in the participatory meetings throughout the country, the key expert 4 (Agronomist) will provide technical expertise related to agronomic feasibility of the analyzed subsectors within the Value Chain. He/she will analyse the environmental and technical aspects within the Sustainability Assessment. He/ she reports to the Team Leader.

Qualifications and skills
• Academic background as agronomist or equivalent.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Speaking and reading Kiswahili is an asset.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Computer literate.

General professional experience
• Ideally ten years experience in work related to food security and/or agriculture project management, preferably in African countries.

Specific professional experience
• Relevant working experience in Tanzania or East Africa is a strong asset.
