Photos & Video: The longest solar eclipse 2009
Solar eclipse happens when the moon crosses the sun thus causing a total darkness to some areas of the Earth. In July 22, 2009, some parts of the Earth in particular Asia, experienced what is believed to be the longest Solar Eclipse of the 21st century which lasted for about 6+ minutes. Countries that witnessed the solar eclipse were China, Japan, Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Myanmaa.
