QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master's degree in Business Management (MBA) or Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
2. Significant Operations and financial management experience in developing countries required. Experience in public health-related activities in South Africa preferred.
3. Relevant experience in subcontract and grant management preferred.
4. Experience managing USAID-funded activities and thorough knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements;
5. Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by ability to interact professionally with culturally and linguistically diverse staff, clients and consultants.
6. Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; demonstrated by ability to work both independently and within a team, assess priorities, and manage a variety of activities with attention to detail.
7. Expert skills in Excel Spreadsheets, QuickBooks or similar accounting software, as well as Word; comfortable in a Windows PC environment.
8. Fluent English is required.
