"wow" weblinks - Firefox Addons [updated August 2009]
Firefox is the best web browser that I have been using since I came to know it in 2005. There is no way I see myself surfing the web without FF. If I come across a page that opens exclusively on IE, there is and IE addon that will do the job for me inside FF. Here is a list of coolest Firefox Extensions, some of which I am using:
- Lazarus - is a free add-on for the Firefox browser which makes backups of the data you've entered into web forms. It then stores this data so you can easily recover it if you need to re-enter it for some reason. Many of us have had the experience of spending ages entering data into a long form, only to see it vanish when an error occurs after we try to submit it. With Lazarus, this need never happen again!
- Adblock - Right-click on a banner and choose "Adblock" from the context menu - the banner won't be downloaded again.
- All-in-One-Sidebar - quickly switch between sidebar panels, view dialog windows such as downloads, extensions, YP and more in the sidebar, or view source or websites in the sidebar.

- Fast Dial or Speed Dial - Gives you a Direct access to your most visited websites. Choose which site to put on the provided boxes. I have tried both and I prefer Fast Dial.
- FireShot - Works like the tab on your keyboard with the "Print Screen SysRq" and beyond. It creates screenshots of web pages and provide a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify web captures and insert text annotations and graphical annotations. Such functionality will be especially useful for web designers, testers and content reviewers. It's possible to choose whether you want to capture entire web page or take screenshot of only visible part of the web page. The captures can be: - uploaded to FREE public screenshot hosting - saved to disk (PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP) - printed - copied to clipboard - e-mailed - sent to configurable external editor for further processing.
