Project Management & Facilitation experts for EC Framework Contract As part of the European Commission Framework Contracts we welcome applications from project management & facilitation experts
Project Field:
The national Department of Education of South Africa requires project managers to be trained and skilled in the management of implementation and application of conditional grants and donor funded programmes. Overall objective is to increase efficiency and ability of monitoring and evaluating projects.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications and experiences are mandatory:
- Degree in project management or similar qualification in the Project management sector with a specific requirement of technical support
- 5 years working experience in project management including training and/or facilitation
- Extensive training, facilitation and induction experience pertaining to project management modalities
- Experience in the coordination of technical and logistical support to training and conferencing of
- Experience in the development of training materials on project management and guides
- Experience in facilitation of training and outcomes based on learning/teaching modalities
- General knowledge in M&E for development and mentoring of public sector officials desired
- Sound knowledge and understanding of project management within the public sector, especially in the South African Department of Education will be advantageous
In addition, the expert should command the following skills:
- Good knowledge of and experience in the action learning approach
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Good logistical background
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Dynamic & positive attitude towards capacity building in the public sector
