Community Volunteer Services-Tanzania is a community-focussed non-governmental organization. We provide services to volunteers to contribute their time and skills in care and outreach, education, research and training, and poverty alleviation. We offer an unique opportunity for volunteers of any background to make a big difference within small but vibrant communities. We place great importance on the welfare of our volunteers during their stay with us in the communities and our staff are committed to offering volunteers an African experience of a lifetime. Our volunteers live with host families where they receive an exceptional opportunity to experience African life and gain experience on a daily basis. A spare week or two after your volunteer experience will allow enough time to visit some of Tanzania’s breathtaking tourist attractions. CVS-T can help to arrange competitive rates for wildlife safaris in most of Tanzania’s spectacular National Parks, and other ecotourism activities and cultural tours to suit your budget.
