FULBRIGHT – THANKS TO SCANDINAVIA GRANT

Fulbright - Thanks to Scandinavia grant is awarded to Bulgarian students for a Master's program at a prestigious U.S. institution. The award is co-sponsored by the Institute Thanks to Scandinavia at the American Jewish Committee and expresses the gratitude of the Jewish community to Bulgaria for saving the Bulgarian Jews during World War II.
The grant lasts for up to one academic year and is offered to candidates in all fields except clinical medicine and dentistry.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must have Bulgarian citizenship (green card holders and persons with double citizenship are ineligible).
• Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Applicants should be under 40 years of age and in sound health.
• Students already studying in the U.S. are ineligible to apply for grants.

All candidates will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, and sex.

• Valid results from American standardized tests: TOEFL (required for all candidates) and GRE or GMAT
• Essay on the topic “Fighting Intolerance, Racism, and Extremism in the Modern World. The Tolerance Bulgaria Showed to the Jews during World War II”

A complete application set must be submitted in 3 identical copies.
All items should be translated into English.
