FPD scholarship opportunities
Foundation for Professional Development (FPD) is a South African Private Institution of Higher Education established in October 1997 by the South African Medical Association.
FPD has just announced new scholarship opportunities for some of its most popular management and leadership courses starting later this year. Applications close on 31 July.
FPD has a number of training scholarships available for some of its management and leadership courses that start later this year. The deadline for applications is 31 July 2009. Educational grants
During 2008, FPD continued to support efforts to promote access to education through securing educational grants from sponsors and donors for all potential FPD students. The funding, grants and sponsorships are utilised in the form of a subsidy to enroll potential students, which reduces the role played by costs as a barrier to education.
During 2008, educational grants and sponsorships were awarded to FPD students to the value of R 22 043 279.41 This brings the total monetary value of scholarships awarded since 1998 to R77 027 880.78.
