2009 TWOWS Postgraduate Fellowship

Applications are being accepted for the TWOWS Postgraduate Training Fellowships for Women Scientists from Sub-Saharan Africa and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) at Centres of Excellence in the South. Deadline: 31 July

The TWOWS fellowship is awarded to women scientists from Sub-Saharan Africa and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to pursue a PhD at a centre of excellence in the South. Eligible scientific fields include the following basic and natural sciences:

• basic biology
• chemistry
• mathematics
• physics

The research project must be in BASIC rather than applied science.

Deadline to apply is 31 July.
