Regional Training Manager, FINCA, Uganda
Requrements for this job:
- Higher University degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, Management, or equivalent work experience, Master's degree or Ph.D. in Adult Education, Instructional design or Instructional technology desirable,
- Ideal candidates must have at least 6 to 8 years microfinance operations experience preferably with international organizations working in developing countries, microfinance lending experience is a plus,
- Knowledge of lending best practices,
- Knowledge of adult pedagogy and learning styles,
- Knowledge of training processes and microfinance best practices, and business learning reporting metrics,
- Understanding of professional development process,
- Practical experience running large training programs and action based workshops,
- Experience with staff development and career tracking practices and policy writing,
- Ability to analyze and evaluate staff performance, data and other resources to determine training budgets courses of action,
- Ability to synthesize complex topics into systematic learning modules,
- Ability to manage multiple projects within a dynamic environment with a high level of urgency without compromising productivity,
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships both with top and lower level management within diverse organizational structure in order to facilitate feedback and enhance implementation,
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated understanding of and capacity to implement training follow up systems,
- Demonstrated leadership, networking and negotiation skills,
- Fluent in English, French highly desirable,
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) and work flexible hours.
