Marie Stopes International (MSI) is a marketing-focused, results-orientated social business working in 43 countries worldwide, providing sustainable reproductive health/family planning services to 5 million clients each year.
The Regional Research Manager is responsible for leading research efforts across the MSI partnership throughout Southern Africa on the reproductive and sexual health research agenda. S/he ensures the attainment of MSI goals and objectives and provides regional leadership to the research and metrics team. The Research Manager is also expected to ensure good collaboration and coordination with key stakeholders. The post involves extensive international travel.

The successful applicant will have expertise in research preferably gained in a developing country context, demonstrated capabilities of producing results when working with individuals from a range of cultures with varying levels of expertise; proven ability to train others, sell ideas and concepts. You must be pro-choice on abortion. We are particularly looking for researchers with clinical experience (e.g. clinical researchers or researchers who have worked on clinical trials) as well as experienced quantitative researchers.
