News: Tanzanian youths assault two Andhra policemen

Hyderabad, Aug 1 (PTI) Three Tanzanian youths allegedly assaulted two policemen, who had gone to a locality after receiving a call about a brawl involving the trio here in the wee hours today, police said.

The policemen, a sub-inspector and a constable, received minor injuries, they said, adding that the youths have been arrested.

The incident occurred at Greenland Cross Road area.

The trio, travelling in a car, were in an inebriated condition when their vehicle hit another car. Later, they had a brawl with the car occupants and beat them up. The victims called the police for help.
