Crown Agents USA, Inc. seeks a Central Medical Stores **Human Resources Manager** in our Gaborone, Botswana.

The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PSCM) is implementing the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) contract for USAID as part of the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). SCMS is tasked with strengthening or establishing secure, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable supply chains capable of meeting the care and treatment needs of people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS. In coordination with in-country and international partners, SCMS will: assist programs to enhance their supply-chain capacity; ensure that accurate supply-chain information is collected, shared, and used; and provide quality, affordable, health care products to those who need them. SCMS will offer services in focus countries identified by the USG team, with SCMS field offices established in selected countries as required by the scope of work in the country.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- To regularly review HR policies and practices, incorporating in Staff Handbook and HR Manual in line with the local labor law and company good practice
- To ensure that staff are hired and managed in accordance with labor law and good practice, providing management with advice and coaching as necessary
- To source, sift and select staff cost effectively through interview, testing, checks and other appropriate methods
- To issue appropriate letters of contract and variations of contract
- To set up and monitor HR systems to record and monitor staff information, ensuring confidentiality
- To advise managers on changes in terms and conditions in line with market rates and company policy
- To support and advise managers in dealing with employee relations and performance management issues, ensuring that procedures are followed and actions are fair and equitable
- To counsel and advise staff on work and personal matters within a confidential, empathetic and business aware environment
- To be responsible for the identification of training and development needs within the company
- To identify suitable training and development for managers and staff
- To ensure that all necessary training and development is undertaken to assist in achievement of targets and competency levels
- To promote employee compliance to regulatory concerns
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- HR profession qualification.
- Over 7 years of HR management experience
- Team leadership experience
