To coordinate the production and placement of communications products in support of social mobilization activities.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop communications strategy to support sector led social mobilization activities. Note: Communications strategy will involve development of brand for social mobilization program
- Develop specific communications products (print, mass media, other) to support communications strategy.
- Assure substantive input from key sector, government of Honduras partners in development and execution of social mobilization communications strategy.
- Oversee placement of communications products in relevant channels.
- Assure all communications activities are within limits of communications budget.
- Work with local implementing partners (NGOS) to coordinate live events.
- Coordinate pre-testing of all communications products with research/monitoring & evaluation staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in Communications
- Knowledge of health communications, brand development, special events, advocacy
- Three years experience working with private sector marketing and communication
- Previous public health experience desirable
