Proudly, I would like to introduce to you the VUNGA products.

Thinking about how many youngsters have lost the purpose in life altogether for unspeakable reasons, I had every reason to be thankful to hese vijanas behind "VUNGA" products who have decided to try to work hard in order to lead their lives.
The product line:
You may order a 'VUNGA' logo engrossed in different Tops and Tee Shirt colors. So far the colors available are Blue, Black, White, Red, Green, Gray, Khakhi and White hoods for ladies.

...vunga' simply means take it easy/chill or don't stress. This is a purposeful message to the young generation! Unajua vipi eeh, siku hizi watoto hawajatuliatulia. Yaani wasichana wa shule wadogo sana wanakimbilia madingi watu wazima kisa hela na pia masela kujirusha 24/7 bila mpango - hiyo HAIFAI. Kwa mwendo huu mshikaji utajikuta kwenye madawa ya kulevya, bangi na mambo kama hayo. ...kwa hiyo "vunga" ni neno la mtaani A-Town linakupa "Tulia! (acha papara)"!

The encounter
When I met Lossini on Facebook's chat, he introduced to me this 'kazi za mikono yao' which they call 'VUNGA'. At the end of the first five sentences of our conversation, I had a complete picture of what they do, then I said, "hey Lossini, how about posting it on the blog?" Fortunately, Lossini had already initiated a convesation with another famous fashion blogger whom he asked to feature their VUNGA products on his blog. With that thinking in mind, I said why not support these youngsters bearing in mind that there are so many youths who have become nothing but a disgrace to their families by constantly breaking the rules and laws of a civilized society and often indulging themselves in such despicable acts of sex, alcohol and drug abuse. By constably blaming it on parents or waiting for the government to do something, no body will make a positive move, instead encourage these young minds to venture and try out different opportunities. So, when Lossini sold the idea of VUNGA, I immediately decided to applaud them by creating this post. Good luck VUNGA boys!

Origin of the logo
The idea of having a logo came from very talented young Tanzanian guys who respect life.

The meaning
The word 'VUNGA' is a slang common in Arusha (aka A-Town) which means, 'Take it easy' / 'Chill out' / 'Don't stress' / 'Make No Haste' or as Swahilians would proudly and simply put it, 'Acha Papara'

Why 'VUNGA'?
Since the founders of "VUNGA" are relatively young but yet old enough to notice the 'vunga' in young people, they discovered that a good way to reach out to their generation and spread the message of 'making no hurry' was through crafting the word and putting it on a Tee Shirt. So basically when you buy and wear 'VUNGA' you are not only spreading the message of 'calmness' but also helping the society to make no haste but rather do a calculated move on things and issues.
