Job annoucement: Teach Kiswahili 1 and 2 at Dartmouth
The African and African-American Studies Program (AAAS) and the Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College are seeking a qualified individual to teach Kiswahili 1 and 2 at Dartmouth during the spring term (March 30 - June 9, 2009) of the 08-09 academic year, Kiswahili 1 or 2 during the summer term (June 25 - September 1, 2009) and Kiswahili 1 or 2 during the fall term (September 23 - December 9, 2009) of the 09-10 academic year.
We strive to foster an educational, open dialog on the vital international issues of the day, ensure that a rigorous understanding of the world is an essential part of the Dartmouth experience, and prepare students for lifetime engagement in world affairs.
Qualifications for application include a M.A. or Ph.D. with a focus on Kiswahili and African Studies.
