Under the guidance of the Head of Zonal Office, Gulu and the Chief, Health and Nutrition, responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the health and nutrition programme in UNICEF focus districts in the North

Your profile:
  • Advanced university degree in Medicine or Public Health.
  • Five years progressively responsible professional work experience in health and nutrition programmes including a strong component of capacity development, monitoring and evaluation, some at the international level.
  • Experience in recover programming is an asset.
  • Current knowledge of development issues and policies, as well as programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation.
  • Analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
  • Training ability.
  • Computer skills, including internet navigation, and various office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
  • Fluency in English and another UN language as required. Knowledge of local working language of the duty station an asset
