Assistant Professor / Post-doctoral Fellow in Hong Kong
The Assessment Research Center at The Hong Kong Institute of Education invites applications for one Assistant Professor or one Post-doctoral Research fellow. This is a full-time, non-tenured track appointment up to 30 months.
Salary is very competitive and commensurate with experience. The 12-month salary is US$70,000 ~ 90,000 for an assistant professor, and US$45,000 ~ 50,000 for a post-doctoral fellow.
The successful candidate will join the Assessment Research Center as a research fellow, whose major job includes bidding for external research projects, doing research and publications, organizing international conference and workshop, supervising doctoral students, and other researched-related academic works.
Minimum qualifications include an earned PhD degree in psychometrics, educational measurement, quantitative methods or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Rasch measurement, item response theory, computerized adaptive testing, multi-level modeling, structural
equation modeling, and longitudinal data analysis. Applicants of assistant professorship should present evidence of research productivity and the potential to obtain significant external funding.
