TweetThis! EMARO Grants and Application for Non-EU students

About 4 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for non E-U scholars (third semestry academic or professional holding already PhD degree) who want to carry out research and teaching assignments and scholarly work in an institution of the consortium of EMARO.

The length of the stay can vary from one to three months. The grant amount is 4800 € per month. These scholarships are awarded to the best scholars on a competitive basis. It should be noted that third-country scholars have to provide their own insurance cover.

Definition of third country scholars
"Third country" scholars, mean scholars
  • who are not residents of any of the 27 EU Member countries, the EEA-EFTA states (Island, Liechtenstein and Norway) and candidate countries for accession to the EU (presently Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Turkey).
  • who have not carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the above mentioned countries.
The application for Scholars Erasmus Mundus Grants for the academic year 2010-2011 will be opened from 15 October 2009 till 15 December 2009. The required documents are given in the application form.
