Call for nomination: The AU Scientific Awards Competition
The AU Continental Award
The AU Continental Award is open to both outstanding African Scientists.
The Commission of the African Union is committed to support the use and development of science in Africa and has initiated with its key development partners the AU Continental Scientific Award open to ALL outstanding male and female African Scientists. The objective of this programme is to award Cash Prizes and Recognition Certificates to excelling African researchers for their achievements in Earth and Life Sciences, and Basic, Science, Technology and Innovation sectors. This award programme is being implemented by the AU Commission through the Department of Human Resources, Science and Technology.
Two prizes each of 100,000 USD will be given to successful candidates.
SUBMISSION CONTACT AND DEADLINE
Applications should be sent to the AU Commission on or before the deadline date, 9 September 2009 either as hardcopies or electronically (For electronic copies please ensure authenticity of all documents): please do not hesitate to contact:
