Army Dissertation Fellowships for US citizens

Description:To support scholarly research and writing among qualified civilian graduate students preparing dissertations in the history of war on land, the Center offers two Dissertation Fellowships each year. The fellowships carry a $9000 stipend and access to the Center's facilities and technical expertise.

Eligibility:

• Civilian Citizen of U.S.
• SUBMIT - official graduate transcript -proposed plan of research -letter of recommendation from academic director, approving dissertation topic -2 letters of recommendation from individuals to attest their qualifications for the fellowship -writing sample 25 pages
• Must complete all requirements for Ph.D. degree by September, except dissertation
