TweetThis! Google: More useful features & uses

Say you receive an email or saw a text but the language is unknown to you, no proble, you can use this Google Language detect link: http://www.google.com/uds/samples/language/detect.html to detect the language used. Just type in or copy and paste some few words from the text and the software will tell you the name of that language.

Since you will now know the language used, then you can use another google software via this link: http://translate.google.com/ called Google Translate to translate the whole text. Of course translation will not be 100% accurate but at least you will get the general picture of what is being communicated. Google translate is also an engine that can be used to translate an entire web page or website, http://translate.google.com/translate
Just copy and paste the url of the page of web/blog to be translated and Google Translate will to do the rest.

PS: Not all languages are supported so don't frown when you don't see a certain local language.

If you are a blogger or site owner and you want to include this translation engine to your website for easiness to your readers, you can copy the code provided under the Tools in Google Translate, http://translate.google.com/translate_tools?hl=en and paste it on the section of the blog where you want the translation to appear.

Happy translating.

You can read more about using google for  better search and better results in my previous post here (click) or use the search box above to search, just type in 'google' and you will see all the posts in this blog about Googe.

We are in for a big suprise in future.
There is a way to read your friends email now, believe me , it is true. You just ask them politely to give you their user name and password, and boooooom.
