GRADUATE RECRUITMENT PROGRAMME
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
The Programme objective is to train and develop our future leaders in the mining industry. It is believed that by hiring highly talented and motivated graduates from the best institutions we will be able to ensure that our company will have the adequate talent to ensure its future growth and continued success. Hence this program aims at recruiting high potential graduates, providing them with a fast-tracked training to enable them to attain positions of accountability in a short time. Intake into the scheme will include fresh highly motivated graduates in various fields including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering, ICT Engineering, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources and Administration and Health, Safety and Environment disciplines.
■REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A University Degree with minimum GPA of 4.0
Age not above 30 years old,
You must be a person who is self motivated with high potential for career development in the AGA group,
Proactive with self-initiative and strong problem-solving skills,
Excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili languages,
Must be computer literate particularly in MS Office Applications.
■TERMS OF RECRUITMENT
Successful candidates will be employed on an initial two years contract before confirmation to permanent employment based on continuous individual performance assessment by the employer.
The candidates will be fast tracked and rotated in different sections in order to give them training and insights into different aspects of a given function in the organisation.
At the end of the two years, the successful candidates will be considered for senior role in their respective function and subsequently they will be given opportunities for International exposure within the AGA Group.
